Hisence Showroom

Posted on Oct 8, 2012

A showroom design for a technology company. This design was done alongside of a fellow designer, Nikki Bloomfield. We wanted to create a very hightech looking area to highlight their AV equipment. They wanted to fit a lot of there products into a relatively small space along with having a theater and an area to showcase there kitchen equipment. I feel that we came up with a very compelling solution that addressed all of there needs. The shapes spoke to there branding along with the color changing LEDs. Every aspect of the design was created to seamlessly walk someone through there...

Oldenburg Exhibit Design

This is a design that was done for a company that makes mining machinery so most of the exhibit is going to be filled with large equipment (Ghosted out white shapes on the floor) They still wanted something to make them stand out at the show and there was very little floor space for architecture so I designed two large fabric structures to fly above the space.  The structures are designed to be very bold and masculine...

Saudi Aramco Exhibit Design

Posted on Oct 4, 2011

This exhibit was designed for a large oil company.  The exhibit had to be sophisticated, well branded, pay homage to Saudi Arabian culture and have several sections  designed for a theater, semi-private meetings, interview areas, information kiosks, a bar area, and a hospitality internet cafe.  After doing research on modern Saudi Arabian architecture I found that their was a lot of use of ancient patterns spun into modern shapes , so I took that approach when designing this exhibit.  I placed a lot of laser cut screen throughout the exhibit along with bold shapes and a...

One World Exhibit Design

This Exhibit was designed for the One World Alliance for there GBTA show in Denver. I designed the exhibit to be a representation of an airport tarmac with the large tail fins differentiating the spaces. In years past the alliance was looking disconnected so this year we wanted to make the space feel a lot more cohesive and connected. The exhibit was a huge success at the show and the One World Alliance was so happy with the results that they signed a three year contract with...

This was a design that was done for Earthborn Holistic Pet Food.  This exhibit was a tough one from the start because the client had a lot of demands, Lightweight, inexpensive, well lit, easy to set-up by two people, Later I found out that it was a peninsula and that it needed to reconfigure into a 10×20 as well.  The client had also been using an exhibit for around ten years so they were looking very...

Cascade Exhibit Design

Cascade Engineering is a manufacturer of garbage cans so I wanted to be able to display this common object in a space that made it feel more special then it was.  I created a modern, slightly closed off space, to add a little mystique to the exhibit.  I made the exterior very clean and stark while contrasting that with the retro colorful “wallpaper” look on the interior.  The “wallpaper” was created by making a repeated pattern of...

Exhibitor 2010 exhibit

This was an animation that was done to unveil the design that was done by Evan Detskas for Skyline’s 2010 exhibitor booth. I wanted this video to take on a much more fun and playful feel then in years past, so I went with an approach where the exhibit fell from the sky and built it’s self. We were highlighting new materials so the close ups on the plexi panles was very important. To add some energy to the animation I did some speed changes to the beat of the music.   To make the design and video I Used: Adobe Photoshop Apple Motion Final Cut Pro Strata Stills...

For this exhibit the client wanted a space to highlight their tools in a very branded space. Â I am very familiar with Hilti from my fabrication side of design so I was ver excite to work on this project. Â The client did own a few items so I wanted to use their existing product so I could get a bigger impact. Â I was very happy with the upper fabric structures and how they drew people into the front. Â The interior of the exhibit had a lot of space for tool display and the exhibit I feel represented their brand well.
